The team was formed in 2016 at the International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering/Technical University of Catalonia (CIMNE/UPC) to strengthen the research in the field of two-phase flow modeling for industrial purposes. Since then we have been developing and implementing models for the analysis of liquid-gas systems paying particular attention to microfluidic applications, where surface tension plays essential role. Our team is using Kratos Multiphysics software, an Open Source HPC framework as the basis for the implementations.
