Micro-droplet formation process with pulse modulation by inkjet dispenser

inkjet microdroplet

In this videos, we present the process of micro droplet formation using our piezoelectric-based drop-on-demand inkjet dispenser. By precisely controlling triple successive pulses as a trigger signal, we achieve controlled droplet ejection. The ink composition consists of 99% ethanol, making it ideal for various applications. Explore the impact of different trigger pulse amplitudes on micro droplet formation. Our experimental setup remains consistent across three cases, but we manipulate the pulse amplitudes and pulse widths. Watch how subtle adjustments in the trigger signal lead to varying droplet sizes and dynamics as they emerge from the MicroDrop™ dispenser. Whether for precision printing or biological assays, understanding these nuances is crucial.
